Drawing from his New York roots, Rick Wonder’s diverse music style blends house and electro with hints of hip hop, 80’s, pop and rock. His unique style, high energy and keen ability to read and interact with the crowd have fueled his popularity, commanding him to be behind the decks almost every night of the week. Being able to fill a dance floor on any given night is no easy task however it is one that Rick Wonder has repeatedly done with ease week in and week out. With a strong fan base backing his domination on the decks, club owners have come to rely on Rick Wonder to be the go to DJ for week night parties. Most recently, Rick Wonder’s development of the weekly event “We Rock Tenjune Tuesdays” has become New York City’s most frequented Tuesday night party and a popular hangout for even the biggest names in the DJ industry. Word of Rick Wonder’s success leaked to others in the industry thus earning him residencies at Providence Nightclub in the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City , Fellini Lounge and Praia Nightclub, both located in the Dominican Republic as well as regular spots at Shrine @ MGM Grand Foxwoods, The Estate in Boston and Blade at the Fountainebleau in Miami. But you don’t have to be in a club to experience the wonders of Rick Wonder. Rick’s style and talent caught the ear of Armani Exchange representatives who subsequently solicited him to provide the beats for product launch events and store openings. Rick Wonder can also be heard through the airwaves with regular guest sets on New York’s 105.3 Party FM. When Rick Wonder is not dominating the dance floor, he can often be found putting together a new mix, working on a remix, or more recently in the studio producing his own sounds.
